At 300gsm this is a medium weight year-rounder, and with its 80% cotton, 20% recycled polyester blend, approx 10 x 500ml bottles are diverted from landfill.
 
The Papakura High School Charitable Trust was formed in 2017 by a couple of alumni who were moved by the NZ Herald video story 'Under the Bridge'.  This highlighted the desire and enthusiasm from within the school for education being the pathway into every young person's future.  However there are many barriers in a lower socio-economic community and students miss out on opportunities that would give them experiences from which to learn, to participate, to build confidence and their self-esteem.
 
The Trust was set up to help reset this balance and has been able to financially support students in a wide variety of  ways - sports tournaments, specialist tuition, Outward Bound, Science & Technology Forum, and chromebook scholarships.  The students have relished these opportunities and grown so much from their experiences.  With your support in purchasing a hoodie which celebrates all this school has and does stand for, we look forward to being able to assist more students in the future.
